Raíces, Dignifying Lives, A.C.
We are a nonprofit organization that aims to generate family-strengthening initiatives, with a participatory approach and focus on human development, in the communities of the Ladrilleros Sur neighborhood and surrounding areas.
This is achieved through family participation, the strengthening of emotional bonds, joint work, and self-management to improve nutrition, housing, health, self-employment, and family economy, contributing to the enhancement of dignity and quality of life.
- Since 1996, we have been providing assistance in the north and south of the city.
- In 2016, we worked with a nonprofit organization in Durango.
- In 2022, we participated in the Catholic Leaders Seminar.
- In 2023, we became officially established as a nonprofit organization.
- In 2024, we developed our strategic plan to work in an integral, rather than assistential, way.

Our History
Cancer diagnosis of our president and founding member, who began providing charitable activities from that moment on.
1996
Relapse and increase in charitable activities at hospitals.
2011
SMART A.C. Activities were carried out under the name of a nonprofit created in Durango with an extension in Chihuahua.
2016
During the pandemic, support continued for those most in need, along with various charitable activities.
2020
The project was presented to international organization leaders and local entrepreneurs, who connected us with CEFOST, who supported us.
2022
Official establishment as a nonprofit. Training in various courses and workshops at CEFOST.
